cancer smarts meeting in the meadow

Weekly Meadow Meeting: March 31, 2019

Encouragement, Weekly Roundup

The Cancer Smarts Weekly Meadow Meeting is all about the places I’ve found encouragement to live abundantly. Let’s get to this week’s agenda.

Quick Quotes

  1. “If anything becomes more fundamental than God to your happiness, meaning in life, identity, then it is an idol.” —Tim Keller
  2. “If we have everything else in the world without Christ, we’re impoverished. If we have nothing else in the world but Christ, we’re rich. In the end, Christ is all that matters.” – Randy Alcorn www.epm.org/facetoface

Surprise of a Lifetime

Army SSG Rob Cesternino pulls off the surprise of a lifetime when he reunites with his son Luca at Taekwondo practice after a 10-month deployment. I kinda think this is how my response will be someday when I see my heavenly father. Sheer love+relief+joy+tears+thanksgiving+gratitude.

BibleGateway Verse for Today:

“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:5-6

This week I spent time with my mom and sister sharing personal testimonies and encouragement from Psalm 23 at a retirees’ luncheon in Western New York. I took a drive in the hills the day before and captured this image of a lonely country road lined with trees that look dull and grey. In reality they are getting ready to burst with life! The winding road reminds me of faith, perhaps. Who are you choosing to trust in today for the unknown future?

A Step-By-Step Approach to Healing and Preventing Cancer

Cancer

If you’re concerned about cancer, or have a loved one facing cancer right now, I’ve got an invaluable resource to share with you today from my friend and 14-year cancer survivor, Chris Wark.

Chris was diagnosed with stage IIIc colon cancer in 2003, two days before Christmas, at just 26 years old.

When faced with intimidating odds of survival, Chris did the unthinkable…

He turned down chemotherapy.

His doctors told him he was “Insane”, and had very little support, but he knew he had to take a different path to restore his health. His was rationale was:

“If my body created it, maybe my body can heal it…”

And he was right.

Today… over 14 years later, Chris is alive and well, and cancer free, and he’s sharing how he and many others have healed with nutrition and natural therapies.

Chris created a powerful 10-part video series called…

The SQUARE ONE: Healing Cancer Coaching Program

The information in SQUARE ONE covers the exact strategies he (and countless others ) used to heal cancer…

And you can watch all 10 Modules free online. (details below)

Here’s the free screening schedule:

Chris’s SQUARE ONE program takes you step-by-step through the healing process in a simple straightforward way that is empowering, hopeful and encouraging, without being overwhelming or confusing.

There’s nothing else like this (I sure wish it had been available when I was diagnosed in 2010 and 2012!) and I am so excited to be the first to to share it with you 🙂
